We were so happy to find Hedlund Painting after getting some astronomical quotes to paint the trim of our brick home (I... know this is Seattle, but not all of us are Jeff Bezos).When Chris came out to put together the estimate, he offered some great tips on choosing a different trim color (something I wanted, but was hesitant to do), and he was just much more personable than the other companies I met with. So I was absolutely thrilled when their quote came in far below everyone else.The team of painters was friendly, thorough and hard-working. It was fun to be working from home and hear them laughing outside as they talked and painted. Last summer Hedlund did a beautiful job with the custom exterior painting of my house. At the time, I was extremely... happy with the responsiveness, quality and professionalism by everyone connected to the project. When, for some reason, a few areas of paint started flaking off this winter, I contacted them to ask about warranty. The owner, Chris, came out to see it and immediately arranged for the affected areas to be re-painted. Jalisco, the painter spent 1.5 days cleaning, sanding, filling, buying new paint then carefully painting affected areas--including a few I hadn't noticed. The house looks beautiful. And Hedlund wouldn't even take payment for the materials/paint. Wow, this company REALLY stands behind their work and product! Thank you.read more

Hedlund painting did an awesome job on the interior of our home. It was a large job with cabinets, drywall patching and... repair and nearly every room of our 3 BDR home having to be painted. The detail of their work is excellent, exposed wood millwork around the home was carefully masked and there is zero bleeding of the colors or onto the millwork. All lines are sharp... which is not what I have experienced with other contractors. The quality can vary wildly. Beyond the quality, the flexibility they provided to meet our tight timeline was outstanding. As we had multiple projects ongoing which did not stick to the original timeline and impacting the painting, which comes last or very near the end of the project. They were professional, accommodative and exceptional easy to work with to keep things on track. I plan to use them again as we are planning our next set of projects. 5 stars!read more

Had a great experience using Hedlund Painting for my project. Needed the entire exterior of my building repainted a new... set of colors, and have trim installed around my windows and building corners. I was initially considering having my building re-sided because I was worried the shingles were just too old, but I'm glad I had them come out. They did a great job of meticulously cleaning the old peeling paint, and replacing and repairing any damaged shingle siding. My building looks brand new and for a fraction of the cost of re-siding the building. Will definitely contact them first when it's time to repaint the interior of my building.read more

We have worked with Hedlund on two separate occasions. Initially, to paint the exterior of our home and they did such... a fantastic job that we hired them to paint the interior as well. The company is incredibly responsive and thorough! They use top quality paint and have a keen eye for detail. Everyone at Hedlund Painting was absolutely wonderful every step of the way. We wanted to repaint several interior... walls, and get a few areas of drywall patched up. Chris came to our house and gave us a quote. He was polite, attentive, and explained their process- and he was able to get his crew out within the week. Rico was the project manager, who checked in with us frequently to ensure everything was to our liking. Miguel and Lupio were the talented painters- they were fast, detail-oriented, and polite. Hedlund Painting was a great team to work with. The assessor really helped walk through consideration of interest given... the age of the house involved. The on-site project manager was easy to work with. We hired them for a complete exterior paint job of the house. We added on an interior job to paint the entire second floor interior of the house.Both projects were performed with professionalism and speed. The outdoor job looked great. They even corrected a few defects with an exterior staircase since the wood was rotting.Lastly, I coordinated with them while I scheduled a trip out of town. We communicated daily via text messages. I recently had Hedlund Painting paint the exterior of my home and I was so happy with the results and experience with... that project that a month later, I decided to hire them again to paint my kitchen cabinets as part of my kitchen renovation. I was very concerned about painting my cabinets and how well they would look when finished. Once again, Chris and his team rose to the challenge and delivered! The results are AMAZING! The whole team at Hedlund Painting did a fantastic job for us. Due to unforeseen circumstances they needed to push out... a day, but that wasn’t going to work for our schedule. They immediately rearranged some things and sent Carmen out to do our interior painting job. She was there all day, working incredibly hard, and the job was professionally done. Hedlund Painting did an excellent job on our 100 year old craftsman house in Green Lake. Their price was reasonable... and included 8 hours of carpentry for needed repairs, which was plenty. Scheduling the job was straightforward and they showed up early on the day they said they would start. The work crew was friendly and professional, and worked efficiently. At the end of each day they tidily stored their gear under a tarp in a neat pile in a corner of the yard. They estimated that the job would take two weeks, but ended up completing it in seven days, with no delays. They double coated the siding and trim and even the gutters. The final paint job looks great, with clean lines between different colors, and not a speck of paint on windows or ground. When finished they cleaned up after themselves well. The house looks great and we are entirely happy with their work. We would definitely hire them again, and recommend them without any reservation.read more

I recently hired Hedlund Painting to paint the exterior of our house. Chris came out to bid the job and was very... professional and friendly. We got a quote we were comfortable with and the rest was history. The crew were all very helpful and personable. We needed some repairs on the front part of our garage and even the subcontractor/carpenter, Dago, was a pleasure to work with. Dago is a really sweet man and is a great carpenter. The project manager who oversaw the second half of the job, Zachary, was also very helpful even making aesthetic recommendations that proved to be valuable.
